Potatoes are cheap. Could’ve been more. Also, make them a little more interesting. I don’t think it would steal the short ribs thunder. They were tasty!

They should have presentation as one of the things that we can tell them to improve. The “reduction” was limp and had spread all over the container. The potatoes were sad and flavorless. The meat was well cooked, and what I salvage of reduction, saved it in terms of flavor and moisture.

Meat was delicious and tender. It would be better if there was some sort of sauce for mashed potatoes, but it is also good as is.
