About
Personal chef and cooking instructor in Austin, TX. My specialty covers foods from South America to North America. I'm motivated by the stories behind cooking and expressing that story into the flavor of the food. In 2017, my brother and I created Yuyo Peruano restaurant as a celebration of my culinary immersion throughout South America, where I connected with the people and the culinary community from Bolivia, Peru, Argentina, and Uruguay. I was recognized by the James Beard Foundation with a Best Chef nomination in 2019. Due to covid Yuyo closed with many other opportunities to cook for many more than I could have imagined through CookUnity.

Chicken Enchiladas with Tomatillo Sauce
The rice is soft and the beans are flavorful. The enchiladas had a good amount of chicken. The tomatillos sauce wasn’t bad. The Ancho Chile ones honestly have my heart.

Cheese Enchiladas in Beef Ancho Chile Sauce
This was my first Cook Unity meal. It was filling, flavorful, and reheated well. The rice was soft. The beans were super flavorful. And the enchiladas were *chef’s kiss.*

appears that the bag was packed sideways at delivery vehicle because the food came very all messed up inside the container. Very bad impression!😜

Mama Isa's Tomatillo Pork Stew
I love this Dish this is the 3rd time I’ve ordered it. But unfortunately this last one I got was all rice and only 2 pieces of Pork. If the pork was a good size that would be fine but it wasn’t
