James is a graduate of the prestigious Culinary Institute of America. Upon completing his AOS, he worked with NYC’s top chefs to hone his skills. Restaurants moved to hotels, where James learned how to organize dinners for 1000 people. In 2012 he started his own company, Tailored Chef NYC, working primarily corporate functions and with high net worth local families as their personal chef. Buttery Lobster Risotto
Nice amount of lobster, but boooooy was this risotto not good. Figured that was a risk but it was undercooked AND watery and there was such and overwhelming amount of lemon in it it was hard to enjoy. couldn't taste a single bit of tarragon bc of it. The premium meals always disappoint me. I'll stop wasting my money.

Chinese-Style Drunken Chicken
My first cook unity meal and this one knocked it out of the park. This meal was absolutely delicious and does not need a single thing changed. The seasoning was perfect, the chicken was tender, the veggies were cooked perfectly and the little char added a nice smoky flavor. This is going to be on repeat for sure.
